  update, sort of
On one hand, Wonkette has picked this up, which makes me think it couldn't possibly be true. On the other, the Venezuelan press initially reported it, then retracted it and is now running a big headline that reads "Chavez: Fidel está más fuerte que nunca," and throws in a "¡Larga vida para Fidel!," which seriously freaks me out. I'm going to go look at tickets to Miami now, just in case.
